Look! A post with no pictures of clouds!

And I wonder
I wo-wo-wo-wo-wonder.
Why

Our “plan” is to do some loafing around on the State Park end of the lake.

Unless something else comes to mind.

Who knows.

Like a lot of us, I wonder about things. Especially when I have a lot of free time. Like when I’m spending a lot of time reclining and gazing at clouds, trees, water and blue sky. Stars.

Do you ever wonder what would happen if everything we did that was karmically worthy of reward or punishment resulted in a person receiving that reward or punishment immediately on our behalf? Sort of our karmic twin.

Would it change our behavior for the better? Or would we continue to muddle along like we do now?

I’m guessing we wouldn’t change. I mean we do stuff all the time that hurts us, even though we know it will.

Maybe we’d be kinder if someone else was reaping what we sow.

I wonder.

It’s easy to wonder when you’re watching the wind blow waves across a lake and boats drift by.

I also wonder if woodpeckers get headaches from all that wood pecking. Or if their bills get sore.

My beer is empty. There is a definite limit to how profound I am with an empty glass.
