What is your opinion?<\/p>\n<p>Vampires don&#8217;t exist.<\/p>\n<p>Of course not, but if they did?<\/p>\n<p>But they don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>Indulge my flight of fancy here.<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s silly.<\/p>\n<p>Is it? Why?<\/p>\n<p>Because you don&#8217;t need to know the ethical ramifications of\u00a0 something that can&#8217;t ever happen.<\/p>\n<p>It could have other implications in real life, don&#8217;t you think?<\/p>\n<p>No. No I don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>You are staggeringly un-whimsical.<\/p>\n<p>I like to think of it as sane.<\/p>\n<p>Pffffft.<\/p>\n<p>One thing I will say about you: you do come up with the oddest ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Was that a compliment? I&#8217;m not even sure myself.<\/p>\n<p>It was. You hate to be bored.<\/p>\n<p>True.<\/p>\n<p>What about if there is something about them that compels you to think about them? Like drinking their blood, or their drinking yours? If a big chunk of their sexuality leads to your essentially being drugged into wanting them?<\/p>\n<p>This is important to you why now?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m curious, and I just re-watched TrueBlood.<\/p>\n<p>Have you met a vampire that you are hoping to get to know better?<\/p>\n<p>No, vampires don&#8217;t exist. Besides, the amount of laundry required would be overwhelming.<\/p>\n<p>Laundry?<\/p>\n<p>All that blood. It would soak through the sheets and ruin a mattress in no time. There&#8217;s not a vampire-proof mattress pad available.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously?<\/p>\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Uh&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I said that I realize that vampires aren&#8217;t real.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, good.<\/p>\n<p>But the logistics and ethics are interesting to me.<\/p>\n<p>The logistics and ethics of an imaginary relationship with an imaginary type of being.<\/p>\n<p>Yes. And stop looking at me like I&#8217;m crazy.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think you&#8217;re crazy. Just odd.<\/p>\n<p>In a good way.<\/p>\n<p>Well.<\/p>\n<p>In. A. Good. Way.<\/p>\n<p>Of course.
