On Wednesday, I drove down to Springfield to pay a quick visit to my folks. It was supposed to start snowing on Thursday night, so I didn’t think I’d have any trouble. <\/p>\n

I’m still in Springfield. We got a coffee delivery from our favorite Rock Star, and I had dinner and too many drinks with friends. It’s been a great visit in spite of the weather. Or maybe
\n because of it. I wouldn’t have seen any of my friends if the weather had been better and I’d gone home on time. So, silver linings. <\/p>\n

It’s expected to warm up on Sunday, so maybe I’ll make it home in time to go back to work on schedule. Maybe we should have stayed in Cabo. <\/p>\n
