On January 1st, the Ducks vs FSU game is what we were all waiting for.<\/p>\n

We stayed up late on New Year’s Eve playing games. Slept well. Then we woke up, had some Rock Java, maybe a Bloody Mary or two, and proceeded to stay in our pajamas. We had a strenuous day of relaxation and laughing to get through.<\/p>\n

We had breakfast. Always start a party day with a good breakfast.<\/p>\n

After breakfast, we put on some football, and Kyle set up a game board for each of the playoff games. We decorated the Oregon vs FSU board in our own classy way and put our money down. There was serious money in play. A dollar a square. Yeah. We are high rollers.<\/p>\n

Dante was in charge of the bank.<\/p>\n

We had snacks. We watched football. We had chili. We had more snacks. There may have been a little more drinking. We paced ourselves very well.<\/p>\n

We did some very extensive lounging around. We had some arts and crafts. Chelle made two headbands with Dawn’s guidance.<\/p>\n

Dawn sparkled for Dante. Dante loves sparkles.<\/p>\n

It was a great day, as it always is when the fun people get together and do nothing.<\/p>\n

Then we watched the Ducks win the day. Big time.
\nThere was much cheering.<\/p>\n

After the game, we launched some celebratory aliens.
\nBonus points for not burning down the house.
\nProtecting the neighborhood from mayhem like us is Chelle’s nightmare.<\/p>\n

We watched the Bama vs OSU game to see who we will face in the championship game. Ducks vs OSU on 1\/12\/15.<\/p>\n

Good friends, a win for the Ducks and I won a dollar on the Bama game. <\/p>\n

It was a damn good start to the new year.<\/p>\n
